FRIDAY'S FOTO

Santa Barbara's Moreton Bay Fig Tree is believed to be the biggest in the country.
Planted in 1876, it was designated an historic landmark in 1970. When it was measured
in 2010, the trunk diameter was 12,5 feet and the branch spread was 198 feet.
It is a beauty to behold.

Its hard to tell the one tree with the two trunks..... one on the front and the other on the back of the white wall. I take it is the one in front of the wall.

I hope this little message finds you and Rob well.

This was such a difficult shot to take because the tree is so huge. You can get a sense of it when you look at the size of the cars. It's incredible!

What a GORGEOUS old tree! You got a great shot. Think of all the things that tree has
"seen"!
