FRIDAY'S FOTO

There are still some windmills like this left in the Netherlands, and visiting them and seeing how they
work is quite something.  This entire country is an amazement!
It says so much about man's ingenuity.

de molen looks like Kinderdijk which was built in remembrance of the Dutch children who drowned when a dike broke

the foto is beautiful & I still remember the 1st time I saw it in person

you're making me homesick for Nederland

What a beautiful picture and what a lovely country. Burt’s son-in-law was born there and when we visited his parents surprised us with probably, 30, bright yellow tulips in our hotel room when we arrived and they also took us out into the country-side to visit a few small towns on the sea and to eat fish, fish, and more fish at a little inn they had not been in since they were first married. One of my fondest memories is the ride on the train and the fields of tulips we could see on the way to Belgium. The air was so fresh and clean smelling. Brings back good memories. Thank you

You are correct that it was not possible to open up the blog on the windmills at first time around. 2nd time around I was treated not only to the windmills (hope you got to go inside) but also to the bar b q story as well. We are fond lovers of bar b q meals ourselves and brag about the local
Sonnys restaurant in Orlando (they now have branch restaurants all over the place.
I want you to write something down. In your travels should you evere go to a small place in Alabama called Eufaula Alabama located at 534 Randolph Ave Eufaula Al. 36027 I want you to visit the WORLDS best Bar b q. Its Called simply Phil's bbq....... Its slogan is we have the best butts in Alabama
check them out at www.bestbuttsinalabama.com
I left part of my taste buds when I visited the place last year inside the place.
It is the only restaurant in my 66 years of living where at one sitting Carol and I ate an entire cow !

I definitely will write down that barbecue place. You never know when a side trip takes us through a new town, and where there's life there is barbecue!!!!!!
And I shall visit that website pronto.
