But good...The transportation thing is a GREAT idea. But good old picky me would have added that you can buy metro cards for cash or credit but ONLY in machines as most stations are un manned which drives tourists nuts. <br />Also the cross town busses and many major AVENUE busses are SELECT buses ( they have flashing blue lights) and you cannot use cash nor metro card on them but must queue up at the machines at the stops and purchase a ticket to get on the bus. The ticket is good for one hour only. Its the honor system which in NY is pretty much of a joke BUT if an inspector gets on the bus and you don't have a ticket you are subject to a hefty fine<br />Bethnoreply@blogger.com
