The Lincoln Memorial as seen from the World War II Memorial In a cruel and senseless act, someone defaced the Lincoln Memorial this week but that person cannot deface the importance of the man or the words inscribed on that Memorial.

Isn't it impossible to visit DC and not visit the Lincoln Memorial? It is outstanding.
