FRIDAY'S FOTO
Yes, he is real! He posed for me in Everglades National Park in Florida. Seeing him and so many of his buddies live and in their natural habitat was mindblowing. If you go to Florida, visit the Everglades through the National Park Service.
I think the creature pictured is an alligator instead of a crocodile, however I think the principle in the previous song I remember from childhood still applies!

Thirty years ago we did take the NPS airboat tour of the Everglades,It was one of the best nature tours I have taken. We also did one in LA of the bayous where the ranger threw marshmallows to the alligators to lure them closer to the boat for photo ops. That was pretty awesome,but my fledgling biologist (she was getting her Master's in ecology at the time) was a little incensed that they were feeding marshmallows to the wild animals.
The funny (or not so funny thing) is that we were told not to feed the alligators. They get used to being fed and they become too close to humans. Then they have to be shot. Times do change, don't they?
